Meet Erica Lanier – Founder & Clinical Director of Thrive Family Practice
Erica Lanier, FNP-C, is the founder and visionary leader behind Thrive Family Practice & Med Spa, where she blends decades of healthcare experience with a passion for whole-person wellness. A Family Nurse Practitioner board-certified in Georgia, Erica founded Thrive in 2023 to deliver a more personalized, attentive model of care that goes beyond symptom management. Her goal is simple but powerful: to help every patient feel seen, supported, and empowered in their health journey.
Erica provides care for patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, and specializes in managing chronic conditions like Type 2 diabetes, offering in-depth education, prevention strategies, and personalized support. She also focuses on women’s health, annual wellness exams, and hormone optimization, offering EvexiPEL-certified bioidentical hormone therapy for both men and women. With a background in emergency medicine and six years in primary care, Erica brings both clinical sharpness and deep empathy to every patient encounter.
Erica also brings a wellness-focused approach to aesthetics, with experience in Botox, dermal fillers, and advanced laser therapies. She designs personalized treatment plans that enhance confidence and skin health while supporting each patient’s overall vitality and long-term wellness.
Whether she’s addressing a complex condition or helping someone optimize their health, Erica’s care philosophy is rooted in relationships. Patients trust her because she listens, explains, and goes the extra mile by treating not just conditions, but the whole person.
At the core of Erica’s leadership is her belief that patients should never feel rushed, overlooked, or treated like just another chart. She founded Thrive to flip the script on transactional care, replacing it with time-rich appointments, thoughtful questions, and proactive support. Erica believes that healing happens in the context of trust, and she has structured the entire practice around this principle. From her careful selection of providers to her investment in the latest wellness therapies, she ensures that every aspect of the patient experience reflects dignity, clinical excellence, and true partnership. Under her guidance, Thrive has become a place where long-term health isn’t just the goal—it’s the standard.

Erica Lanier, FNP-C’s Treatment Philosophy
Erica believes the strongest healthcare outcomes begin with trust and meaningful connection. Her primary goal as a provider is to build close, collaborative relationships where each patient feels their unique concerns are heard and addressed. Known for her warmth, attentiveness, and clinical thoroughness, she treats physical and emotional wellness as inseparable parts of care. Erica listens deeply, educates clearly, and advocates tirelessly, helping patients feel empowered and confident in their health journey.
Her emergency room background trained her to remain calm and capable under pressure, but she cherishes the time primary care allows her to connect, follow up, and build lasting health partnerships. She’s often praised for going above and beyond by coordinating care, making follow-up calls, and creating a space where patients feel genuinely cared for.
